At Castleton Yorke, we provide a full restoration, repair and alteration service. It is very rare that we are unable to bring your furniture back to life. There is the odd time when it is cost effective to simply make a replacement.

Here is a few examples of the work we are asked to do;

Replace legs and spindles chewed by dogs
Remove the arms from “Carver” chairs, to enable them to be pushed under a table
Remove varnish and finish with modern enamel
Repair loose joints
Reupholster
Remove and replace parts of damaged veneer
Repair cracks and splits
Make lighter or darker the shade of finish
Remove dents, scratches and burns.
